The year following its inception, in 1994, the Mandaluyong Chapter Board needed to increase its coffers to fund its plans and programs. As in any non-profit organization, the chapter launched a fund raising activity dubbed as "Swing Your Heart Out", a pre-valentine ballroom dance affair. Conceptualized by CRB Hernandez, she initiated venue and sponsorship arrangements through her circle of business contacts. EDSA Plaza and Remy Martin Phils. inked the major sponsorship. Minor sponsors from other establishments were gathered by Ms. Cristobal and Mr. Barretto. The one-night affair was a resounding success and earned the chapter a bank account that could well finance a Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar and subsidize at 100% the convention package of its delegation to the National Convention in Subic, Olongapo City, later that year.

From then on, all projects were carried out smoothly as money was no object. The chapter all the more increased its bank deposits, mostly profits from the succeeding CRES conducted twice a year.

Today, Mandaluyong Chapter continues to educate aspiring real estate brokers through the CRES at least once a year. However, since the real estate downturn that began in 1997, the chapter geared towards conducting continuing education programs (CEP) for licensed practitioners to renew their licenses as required by the DTI. The CEP's provided another avenue for the chapter to increase its coffers at the same time its membership.
