Twenty three years ago, a group of concerned and dedicated licensed real estate brokers bonded themselves together and dedicated to pursue their common objectives of truly professionalizing the rel estate industry and raising the level of ethical standards of licensed real estate prctitioners. With this noble purpose in mind and adhering to the ideas they have firmly beleived in, they established an entirely new association known as REBAP.

The vibrant organization is known today as the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippenes, Inc. (REBAP) with its members aptly called Certified Real Estate Brokers or CRB for short.

REBAP was formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 4, 1979 as a non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political corporation. CRB Rafael Pula was elected the first Chairman to head an 11-man of directors.

The first set of officers and members worked as a Team with unselfishdedication, paving the way for a strong united REBAP, and gained recognition as a vigilant, innovative and resolutegroup through the years.

As early as its beginnings, REBAP has made its presence felt in business, in government and other sectors of the society. It continues to do this, as it constantly articulates its stands on issues affecting the real estate industry and more so, the public which it serves.

REBAP is now a strong force of more than 500 members and associate members spread over 20 Chapters based on Metro Manila and in the provinces. The REBAP family has steadily grown, and REBAP Mandaluyong was founded on September 6, 1993.
